 Issy leads the firm’s Commercial Litigation team. Issy has more than 40 years experience in dispute resolution and commercial litigation. In particular, Issy’s expertise includes contractual and commercial disputes, intellectual property, trade practices and estate disputes. He regularly acts for major corporate clients in complex litigation.
Issy has strong technical skills and works closely with clients to identify commercial imperatives and achieve the best outcomes. He works with his clients to explore alternative dispute resolution processes with a view to more efficiently and promptly resolve their disputes. Issy’s clients appreciate his ability to provide insightful legal and strategic advice.
In addition to his litigation practice, Issy regularly advises on corporate and commercial matters. His commercial experience includes contracts, business structuring, corporations law, licensing, intellectual property, leasing and advising on a range of complex commercial and property issues.
Issy has been a partner at Sackville Wilks for 35 years.
