Jarrod practices in corporate and commercial law, commercial litigation and estate litigation.
Jarrod’s commercial experience includes drafting contracts for the sale of business/assets, trade mark applications, property transactions, contracts of employment, trade practices and consumer law.
Jarrod’s expertise in the litigation field include, recovery of moneys owed in VCAT and the Magistrates Court, Retail Tenancy Disputes and Estate litigation – including applications under Part IV if the Administration and Probate Act.
Jarrod has instructed in a number of high profile commercial disputes in the Supreme Court and is experienced in preparing matters for trial and settling matters using alternative dispute methods.
Jarrod is passionate about providing excellent client service. He is focused on providing cost effective, pragmatic legal advice tailored to his client’s individual needs.
In addition to his Bachelor of Laws (Honours), Jarrod has a degree in Applied Science with major studies in Environmental Management, a Graduate Diploma in Education, Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice and a Masters of Law (Commercial Law).
Jarrod is a member of the Bayside Triathlon Club and Crosbie Crew running club.
Jarrod joined Sackville Wilks as a lawyer in March 2010. Prior to completing his law degree, Jarrod worked for 7 years in the Banking & Finance industry at ME Bank.
